Owners of A-F Motors

Tadd Wormet, Dealer and Co-owner of A-F Motors, is the son of founder Bud Wormet.  His exposure to the family business began as a youth—washing cars and chatting with customers.  After two years of college and seven years in the Air Force, Tadd came home in 1994 to earnestly learn a car business career.  Groomed by his father, stepmom and various other sources of sales and management training, Tadd has become a solid leader of the Team at A-F Motors, dedicated to excellence in customer and employee satisfaction.  He officially became the dealer in 2005.

Though many hours are consumed by the dealership, Tadd enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting and anything that involves his kids.  He’s also a Packers, Brewers, Bucks, Badgers and Green Devils fan.

Penny Wormet, Co-owner and Business Partner, worked with Bud in the dealership for nearly thirty years, earning the valid title of Corporate Mom.  With experience in Real Estate Mortgage Banking, she developed the A-F Motors Finance Department starting in 1988; she has since graduated to duties she can mostly perform from home.  She closely monitors the company’s heartbeat, remains active in business decisions and is always available for consultation with all members of the Team.

With her faithful Golden Retriever, Penny enjoys her horses, flowers and yard; she treasures time with her kids and grandkids, their sporting events, their talks and High School Bible Study group. Winter hobbies are sewing, reading and writing; she published a book Loving Larry in 2005.

Sales

Heath Follen, Internet Marketing Manager/Sales Consultant, is Penny’s son, Tadd and Tim’s stepbrother, who joined the A-F Motors Sales Team in October 2009. As an innovative entrepreneur who owns his own business—MSM Design Group—Heath is esteemed for his diligent work ethics, lighthearted sense of humor, writing skills and internet savvy. While gaining vehicle knowledge and sales experience, he has transformed our web site and continues to improve our digital marketing program.

Heath also designs and renders homes for MSM, enjoys his family, and relieves stress by weightlifting, coaching and playing sports; he rarely sleeps.

Brian Stanley, Sales Consultant, a1989 A-F High School graduate with sales and national-level management experience acquired in 12 years of selling Mack trucks and loaders for Scaffidi Motors following 10 years of owning his own business, was heartily welcomed to A-F Motors in December 2010.  Brian’s positive energy, team player ethics and dedication to community involvement have ignited new levels of enthusiasm for the A-F Motors Sales Team.  

A long time resident of Adams County, Brian is glad to be back where he will enjoy time with family, including his two young sons, hunting, fishing, sports and his landscaping and property management business.

Brook Wormet, Sales Consultant, already a familiar face at A-F Motors, officially joined the sales team in December 2011. Since his 1999 graduation from A-F High School, Brook attained a degree in Criminal Justice and has worked as a police officer for the City of Adams since 2004. The field of law enforcement provided experience in public relations, community interaction and the art of negotiation, maturing Brook into exactly the kind of well-rounded, hard-working, personable young man who complements the team at A-F Motors.

?I came here every single day as a kid,? says Brook, ?to visit Grandpa, do my homework, talk to Dad. I love A-F Motors!?

A family-oriented, loyal, hometown boy, Brook thoroughly enjoys the Adams County opportunities for hunting, fishing, camping and boating with his wife, two children and their extended families.

Kara Teske, Finance/Business Manager, brought fresh ideas, new lenders and lofty goals—that she frequently reaches —when she joined the A-F Motors Sales Team in November 2008.  With previous dealership experience in credit and car loan processing, extended warranties and customer relations, her genuine understanding and passion for the car business has sparked enthusiasm that strengthens and speeds our sales and finance process and promotes our objective for gaining and retaining completely satisfied customers!
